Welcome to Vine & Dandy

Hi, I'm Jenny!  

I am a registered nurse, dog mom, and an outdoor enthusiast living in beautiful Arizona. When I'm not working as a registered nurse, you'll usually find me outside---tending my garden, hiking desert trails, exploring new places, or simply enjoying a quiet morning cup of coffee with my husband and our dog Taco on the patio.
 
I've always loved growing things. Whether it's vegetables, flowers herbs, or creating a backyard that's both beautiful and welcoming, gardening has become one of my favorite ways to slow down, learn something new, and connect with nature.

Vine and Dandy was created as a place to share that passion. Here you'll find practical gardening tips, simple garden-to-table recipes, healthy living ideas, hiking adventures, and honest lessons I've learned along the way. I believe gardening doesn't have to be complicated--or expensive--to be incredibly rewarding. 

Arizona has inspired me to step outside my comfort zone, from learning how to garden in the desert to discovering breathtaking hiking trails and hidden outdoor gems. Every adventure teaches me something new, and I love sharing those experiences with others. 

When I'm not digging in the dirt or out on a trail, I'm spending time with my husband and dog, trying new recipes, planning my next garden project, or dreaming about where our next adventure will take us. 
My hope is that Vine & Dandy encourages you to grow a little more, explore a little farther, spend more time outdoors, and create a life you truly love---right where you are.
