Looking for a crowd-pleasing appetizer that’s ready with almost no effort? This Easy Hot Chicken Dip is one of those recipes everyone asks for! It’s creamy, cheesy, and incredibly simple to throw together.

Whether you’re hosting a summer BBQ, cheering on your favorite team during football season, or bringing a dish to a Christmas gathering, this warm, comforting dip is always a hit.

Best of all, it takes just a few minutes to prepare—your slow cooker does the rest!!

Ingredients

  • 1 large can chopped chicken, drained

  • 2–6 blocks cream cheese, softened (adjust depending on how many people you’re serving)

  • 1 stick butter

  • 1 packet Ranch dip seasoning mix

  • Crackers, tortilla chips, or your favorite dippers

Optional

  • A few dashes of RedHot or your favorite hot sauce for a little kick

  • Fresh chives for garnish

Directions

  1. Add the chicken, cream cheese, butter, and Ranch seasoning to your slow cooker.

  2. Cook on Low, stirring occasionally until everything is melted, smooth, and well combined.

  3. If you like a little heat, stir in your favorite hot sauce.

  4. Garnish with chopped chives, if desired.

Serving Suggestions

Serve warm with:

  • Buttery crackers

  • Tortilla chips

  • Toasted baguette slices

  • Fresh veggies like celery or carrots

Or…do what one of my friends does and eat it straight from the bowl with a spoon! 😄 It’s that good.
